Pennoni Associates Hires Anthony Castellone, PE, PTOE, As Senior Engineer
Pennoni is pleased to announce that Anthony Castellone, PE, PTOE, has been hired as a Senior Transportation Engineer in the firm’s Uniontown office. He previously served as a Senior Project Manager for McMahon Associates.
“Anthony will be a great asset to the firm,” said Regional Transportation Principal Todd Morris, PE. “His credentials and technical expertise will enhance our overall transportation service capabilities, and his presence in western Pennsylvania will provide a valuable service to our local clients.”
Mr. Castellone has more than 28 years of experience in transportation engineering including ITS design, transportation planning analysis, highway capacity analysis, traffic signal design, signing, pavement markings and coordinated system signal timing. He is a registered Professional Engineer in seven states, and serves on the boards of the local chapters of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America and the American Society of Highway Engineers. Mr. Castellone received his Professional Traffic Operations Engineer certification, published an article on neighborhood traffic management for the ITE Journal, and got IMSA certified as a Traffic Signal Technician and Signing and Pavement Marking Specialist. He received his B.S. in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. Mr. Castellone is a fellow member of ITE and served as MASITE’s President in 2003.
