Addition and Alteration of Pharmacare Building at MacDill Air Force Base
Pennoni was was awarded a project by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, to provide construction services at one of the largest U.S. Air Force bases in the South, MacDill Air Force Base. The project involved the construction of a new 13,325 square foot addition, and various alterations, to the existing Pharmacare facility. Additional project aspects included site work, installation of utilities, and new staff parking. The end result consolidated the facility services, and provided expanded automated pharmacy access with drive-through capability. The work was completed in March of 2009 and cost $3.5M.
