Guidance on Assessment for Multi-Community Water System

Pennoni is a founding member of the Global Water Alliance (GWA), created as a group of organizations and individuals to help meet the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals for water and sanitation throughout the world. Cameroon was selected as the location of the first project and an assessment team of University of Pennsylvania students and faculty went to a district in the Northwest Province to evaluate social, economic, and health conditions as they related to water and sanitation. Pennoni employees, as board members and through service on the Project Committee, have provided direction in international project planning and evaluation, supporting GWA for a Philadelphia base. They have also lead implementation of successful water and sanitation projects in partnership with student teams from Engineers without Boarders (EWB) improving access to sustainable water and sanitation for multiple communities in Cameroon.
