Highway Design for SHA District 2 as Part of Program Management Support for Resurfacing and Rehabilitation Fund
Teaming with the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA), Pennoni is helping deliver Maryland’s upper eastern shore (District 2) fiscal year 2018 resurfacing and rehabilitation program totaling over $20 million. SHA District 2 is responsible for the Maryland state highway network in Counties adjacent to Delaware; Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Caroline and Talbot. Pennoni prepares specifications, estimates, and permits for a combination of on-call and site specific contracts consisting of preventive maintenance and rehabilitation treatments. On-call contracts prepared for District 2 include patching, crack sealing, micro-surfacing, resurfacing, and Maryland’s first on-call Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course contract.
