The design includes 3.7 miles of new interstate expressway (on new alignment), a new interchange at Dravosburg with Ramp Toll Plazas, design of a new two-mile local connector road, a park-and-ride lot, high voltage power line relocation, pumping station relocation, and 12 new bridge crossings of local roads. There are also some very large (in excess of 2,000 feet in length) culverts on this section that will be buried under as much as 100 feet of embankment. This limited access expressway, with toll collection facilities, will include a four-lane section of pavement with a variable median.
