Talen Energy Stadium

PPL Park

Pennoni was the lead consulting engineering firm for Philadelphia’s Major League Soccer stadium, home to one of its newest teams, the Philadelphia Union. Situated on the Delaware River waterfront just south of the Commodore Barry Bridge, the recently established Talen Energy Stadium, formerly 'PPL Park', seats more than 18,000 fans, with provisions for expanding the seating areas when necessary. The stadium is the anchor for a planned $500 million revitalization project along the Delaware River in Chester, PA. Pennoni provided geotechnical, site design, landscape architecture, structural, and MEP services for the stadium.
