To provide water to the county's largest indoor water park, hotel, and convention center complex, park operators need to have a dependable source of water. Pennoni designed a water transmission, storage, and distribution system to provide the water needed. The transfer station is designed to transfer 350 GPM of water through a 3.5 mile 12-inch ductile iron pipe. The booster station can produce an instantaneous flow of 2,100 GPM at a discharge pressure of 100 psig. The station has both high and lower service distribution pumps. The storage tank has a floating solar power mixer. The station is connected to the main treatment plant with a SCADA system, allowing the operator at the main system to monitor and control remotely.
