Senior Transportation Engineer Awarded DE Young Engineer of the Year

Senior Engineer, Nathan Buttorff, PE, was named the “Young Engineer of the Year” by the Delaware Engineering Society (DES) during their annual Engineer’s Week Banquet on February 15, 2016.
The Young Engineer of the Year award recognizes a young DES member who has made outstanding contributions to the engineering profession and the community during the early years of his career. Buttorff works in the Newark, DE transportation division, specializing in bridge design, analysis, and inspection. His work has been integral to Pennoni's contract with the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), most notably the emergency inspection of a popular portion of Interstate 495 over the Christiana River.
