Pennoni looks forward to Maryland growth under Young’s leadership
BALTIMORE, MD—Pennoni has hired Brian Young to serve the firm’s Baltimore, MD location as Office Director. Brian joins the firm with more than 20 years of experience in all elements of highway operations, design, and construction, and traffic engineering. This experience, combined with more than 15 years of management and employee development, prove Brian will be the seamless addition for growing our Baltimore clientele and managing our diverse team.
Prior to joining Pennoni, Brian served as District Engineer for MDOT State Highway Administration and led the SHA’s District 3 office. This office serves nearly two million citizens of Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in the metropolitan Washington region. He oversaw a staff exceeding 280 at five locations. Brian shares his excitement on joining Pennoni saying, “I’m looking forward to working with the talented team here in Baltimore as well as throughout the organization to continue to provide our clients with exemplary service. The Baltimore office will continue to serve the community and we look to grow our presence throughout the Baltimore/Washington region.”

He has extensive experience working with Federal, State, County, and local elected officials and municipalities and bringing teams together for a better community and excellent projects.
