Pennoni has had the privilege to partner with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) for nearly 30 years and has worked on hundreds of projects across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. PennDOT oversees programs and policies affecting highways, urban and rural public transportation, airports, railroads, ports and waterways.
Over the years, Pennoni has assisted PennDOT with a variety of transportation engineering, construction management and inspection and research and training service for projects throughout PennDOT’s 11 engineering districts.
Pennoni prides itself on its ability to service clients and meet their needs. Having built a strong relationship with PennDOT and their various departments, we are constantly looking to identify challenges or opportunities and find ways to evolve our service offerings to assist with those challenges and opportunities that arise.
One great example of this evolution is Pennoni’s support of the Pennsylvania State Transportation Innovation Council (STIC). STIC facilitates the rapid implementation of proven, well-researched and documented state, regional, national and international technologies, tactics, techniques and any other innovations that are new to Pennsylvania. Pennoni recently won a five-year contract with PennDOT to further STIC marketing efforts to engage their audience and bolster community relations.
Pennoni’s diverse marketing team has provided a range of creative services and public outreach tools to PennDOT, including developing the quarterly STIC Innovation newsletter, editing promotional video materials and developing a webpage to effectively communicate STIC’s efforts to clients and communities.
In addition, as PennDOT is celebrating its 10-year anniversary of STIC, Pennoni has provided a comprehensive, strategic marketing plan to define website, email, social media, audio and innovation webinar deliverables, goals and projections for the momentous year.
Whether we are providing highway design services or creative web concepts, the success of PennDOT’s projects is most important to us as their partner. We are constantly bringing solutions to build on our past success and always looking for new and innovative ways to deliver positive results.
