Pennoni Appoints New Regional Vice President for Greater Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Pennoni, a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, announced Mark T. Celoni, PE has been appointed Regional Vice President for the firm’s Greater Philadelphia region which includes Philadelphia, its surrounding counties, and southern New Jersey. He will be taking over the position for David Pennoni, PE who was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

“Mark’s experience successfully managing our Philadelphia office as well as many large-scale projects during his tenure made him an ideal candidate for the position. I look forward to seeing how Mark’s leadership will continue to serve our clients and grow the region,” said David.

Mark has served as a Vice President and Philadelphia Office Director for eight years. He initially joined Pennoni as a Drexel University co-op and became a full-time employee in 1988. Over the course of his career, he has managed some of the region’s largest multidisciplinary projects for the firm. Mark has a broad-based knowledge and experience in many of the market sectors of the design and construction industry.

Mark is chairman of the firm’s Strategic Planning Committee which demonstrates his commitment to the region and firm. Mark serves as a board member for the University City District and Central Philadelphia Development Corporation. He is also a member and active in many technical and community organizations including Select Greater Philadelphia, American Society of Civil Engineers, Advisory Council for the ACE Mentor Program, Urban Land Institute, and UNICO.
