Frances (Fran) Curtis, GISP, has joined Pennoni as Director of Digital Solutions in the firm's Philadelphia headquarters.
As director, Fran will be leading and growing Pennoni’s portfolio of digital solutions, including asset management, GIS, 3D visualization, digital twins, BIM and unmanned aircraft. This includes the introduction and application of these technologies in ways that help to advance clients’ digital strategies – and in some case become the entirety of their ‘digital transformation’ plan. While asset management is the primary driver, the program will seek to meet clients where they are and offer solutions that help with a variety of workloads.
In this new role, Fran will introduce and implement digital solutions that help “do more with less,” and focus on extending the longevity of infrastructure assets with limited access to necessary financial resources. As the industry and technology rapidly change, helping clients plan and forecast capital expenses will allow Pennoni to proactively plan for future client success.
“I am excited to join and lead the growing portfolio of innovative digital solutions Pennoni has invested in over the years to give our clients the tools they need to make data driven decisions. Our end goal is to provide a unique suite of solutions that are scalable, configurable and affordable,” says Fran.
Fran brings more than 20 years of experience in providing digital solutions to federal, state and local governments as well as Fortune 500 companies. Her use of innovative technologies has allowed clients to centralize decision support systems, provide insights using dashboarding and integrate geospatial solutions to enhance locational intelligence within their organizations.
Before joining Pennoni, Fran was responsible for leading change at Partner Engineering and Science in Malvern, PA. There she implemented mobile data collection tools that integrated with existing internal systems and provided a client web portal for data metrics, document access and portfolio management.
Fran is a West Chester, PA native with a bachelor's degree in geography from West Chester University.
