Langston Avenue Park

The Pennoni FX team was engaged to prepare a 3D model and design visualization to help convey the layout and scope of a new community neighborhood trail and park to be constructed on a 4.6 acre wooded parcel in Haines City, FL. The proposed asphalt walking path and various amenities will be seamlessly integrated into the existing environment to preserve and take advantage of the existing shade trees to maintain the natural aesthetics of the area.  A small secluded parking area will be provided at the rear of the park as well as several parking stalls to be provided along the existing perimeter roadways.  Picnic tables, benches, bicycle racks, and a drinking fountain will be scattered throughout the park, while an open field area will be cleared to provide an ‘open space’ for the local youth to engage in active sporting activities.  The planning and design for this park were developed by Pennoni in conjunction with the Catalyst Design Group in the Summer of 2022 to provide the City of Haines City with a cost effective passive recreation area that will help make the community a better placed to live, work, and play.
