Mulberry Commons

Pennoni previously developed the design of Mulberry Commons Park, situated adjacent to the Prudential Center. The City of Newark, New Jersey needed an updated visualization for their “State of the City” virtual event, to showcase additional improvements leading to the Newark Penn Station. Working with the mayor’s office and teaming partners, our Pennoni FX (PFX) Studios developed a digital twin of the proposed project which was shown in a video presented at the State of the City Address. The visualization highlights the proposed bridge, modeled after the NYC High Line, which will begin at Mulberry Commons Park and run above McCarter Highway, connect to Newark Penn Station and branch off into the Ironbound.
