Howell School Road, SR 896 to SR 71

Howell School Road was realigned with Denny Road, creating a typical intersection with four approaches and a traffic signal, to eliminate the “dog-leg” intersection formed by Howell School/Denny Road/State Route 896. Howell School Road includes two 11-foot lanes and two 5-foot bike lanes and incorporates a multi-use path to provide bicycle/pedestrian access between adjoining residential properties, Meadow Glen and Caravel Woods Subdivisions to Lums Pond State Park. Pennoni provided highway and intersection design for the project.
