Technology Leader Joins Executive Leadership Team to Advance Innovation and Support Firmwide Growth
PHILADELPHIA—Pennoni, a multidisciplinary, 100% employee-owned engineering firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Calaf to chief technology officer (CTO). As a member of Pennoni’s executive leadership team, Calaf will guide the firm’s technology strategy and continue advancing initiatives that support innovation, operational efficiency, cybersecurity and digital transformation across the organization.
As CTO, Calaf will lead the firm’s technology, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, data governance, and emerging technology initiatives. Working closely with Pennoni’s leadership team, he will focus on integrating technology across the business to enhance decision-making, improve operational performance and create value for clients and employees alike.

Calaf brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience to the role. Since joining Pennoni in 2018 as director of technology, he has played a key role in modernizing the firm’s technology infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, expanding cloud-based systems and implementing solutions that improve collaboration and support business growth. His leadership has helped position Pennoni to leverage emerging technologies while maintaining a strong foundation for future innovation.
