Cherry Hill Master Plan

Pennoni developed the Cherry Hill Master Plan to give a clear set of vision, goals, and policies to guide future development that respects the township’s rich history and protects its most cherished assets.

The recommendations, policies and actions in the plan built on Cherry Hill’s strengths while responding to several key challenges the township was facing including: an aging population, a housing stock incompatible with market demands, a continued need for economic development in diverse sectors, outdated zoning and redevelopment potential in several areas in the township.

Highlights of the plan included Land Use and Economic Development Toolkits, easy-to-use collections of policies, and actions the township can choose from as well as a detailed “plans for place” section including an area-specific visions for redevelopment.
