Handley High School in Winchester, VA recently underwent an $80-million renovation project, which included a full renovation of the stadium, including installation of a new turf field and eight-lane track. Pennoni was responsible for the revised storm sewer design, providing detailed grading plans, evaluating the water and sewer extensions necessary for the new visitors’ locker rooms and service areas, and designing the landscaping and fence systems, which provide security for the new facility. Pennoni continued to provide services to Winchester Public Schools throughout the construction process, assisting with construction administration and inspection on the current site grading project, and preparation of as-built plans for verification of the installation.
