The Paulsboro Marine Terminal Access Road and Bridge is a vital link between I-295 and a proposed port facility along the Delaware River in Paulsboro, NJ. The new eight-span, 894-foot-long bridge and 3,400-foot-long road carries Marine Terminal Access Road over Mantua Creek. Due to the curved horizontal alignment, the bridge is comprised of six-foot deep straight and curved steel plate girders. The bridge and roadway were designed for highway loading as well as special permit vehicles that will be used at the port. Pennoni provided preliminary engineering, final design, and construction consultation.
