Talen Energy Stadium, home to Philadelphia’s Major League Soccer stadium, the Philadelphia Union is situated on the Delaware River waterfront just south of the Commodore Barry Bridge. Formerly ‘PPL Park’, the stadium seats more than 18,000 fans, with provisions for expanding the seating areas when necessary. The stadium is the anchor for a planned $500 million revitalization project along the Delaware River in Chester, PA. Pennoni was the lead consulting engineering firm and provided geotechnical, site design, landscape architecture, structural, and MEP services for the stadium.
